My Reforms:

This section will allow users to easily coordinate activities based on shared views (as opposed to direct personal contacts). Activity on areas like the discussion boards is needed to provide the data required to establish these connections (therefore this area won't be developed until nearly last). Grassroots movements will be supercharged once this section is active.

Project - School Event

Traditionally, a project like a School Event relies on the efforts of a few individuals to organize and prepare everything from advertising, scheduling and obtaining local permits...

The connectivity of the internet now allows broad participation by students, parents, faculty, and the community (including local businesses).

A mock/test School Event project is available here:

[Link to come]

Depending on the school and student ages, varying levels of privacy are needed for projects of this type. For college and university "school events" unrestricted access may be possible or preferred. For most events involving younger students, the more sensitive aspects of the project (from planning to contact lists) will likely be closely protected.

Please provide comments and suggestions on how to improve projects of this type below. Feel free to expand on the basic idea and comment on improvements for specialty projects like a dance or pep rally, and even events beyond the Student Body like class trips, student and/or teacher awards, et cetera.

The other manual test projects are currently developing well. We should have a test School Event Project available after we launch the automated project creator.
