N.C. District 4 - Judge Louis F. Foy Jr. - Issues/Complaints
Posted by: Amanda on 03-22-2016
Judge Louis Foy Jr. presided over my case today. On New Year's I was viciously attacked by a women more than double my size. She admitted on the stand that she was not sorry for my horrendous wounds and scars. My attacker fled the scene. JPD came to the scene and listed myself as the victim, along with my husband. I had to research to find out who my attacker was and then a warrant was issued. After her arrest, my attacker then filed charges on me claiming "self defense". I am 5'2, 145 lbs and the attacker, 5'11, 290 lbs. Judge Foy Jr and an African American female prosecuter refused to acknowledge hundreds of pages of physical evidence. They allowed the defense attorney to call me, The Drunk, ignoring objections. They also ignored my attacker when she stated she was not sorry for what pain she caused me and that I deserved it. I believe whole heartedly hat the prosecutor in this case is prejudice against successful white women who maintain their appearance. I have evidence to prove this statement. Upon research I have discovered Foy to be racist against Native American's. Which i am partially.

We clearly need accountability in judges.
The Judiciary currently viciously represses allegations of wrongdoing rather than aggressively correcting bad behavior.
Whether Judge Foy is racist or not, we need a system in place that at least has the potential to investigate allegations of wrongdoing/injustice for all judges.
*According to Ballotpedia: Judge Foy retired in 2016 (so Amanda's specific complaint may be moot but that doesn't change the need to improve our Justice System).
